I help women experience a strong, confident, and capable journey into motherhood! I want you feel your best, prepare your body for birth, heal postpartum, and ultimately enjoy this special time in your life. You deserve it.
My Background
I have my degree in Exercise Science and am also a certified Pre/postnatal Fitness Specialist, Exercise Physiologist, and Health Coach. It’s easy to see health and fitness is my jam.
But… despite it all, the season of pregnancy and motherhood has thrown me the biggest curveballs!
My Story
When I found out I was pregnant with my first, I knew I wanted to stay active and healthy - not only for me, but for the tiny human I was growing!
What I didn’t expect was how much the body changes would affect my day to day. Exhaustion (growing a human is hard work!), shifts in motivation, weight gain, crazy hormones, and new aches/pains brought on a whole new challenge for me. AND, what the heck exercises were safe for me to do?
I just didn’t know. So I had to learn. A lot. And I found that there happens to be a lot of conflicting and confusion information.
Too often women are passed along “old school” advice that says to just walk, do yoga, and basically stay in “bubble wrap” throughout the 9 months (which could be warranted by a medical condition, but not all cases). What we aren’t told is how keeping our body strong and functional is ESSENTIAL to avoiding pregnancy joint pains, keeping energy up, and making a smoother transition/recovery after delivery.
By applying the strategies I’ve learned to my own pregnancy and postpartum journey, I’ve (thankfully) been able to keep most aches/pains within reason, feel energized, and stay active in a way that supports my body, baby, and life.
It doesn’t have to be a miserable journey if you take control. I can help you cultivate strength and confidence in your body so you can feel YOUR BEST.
