3 Things To Stop Doing For A Healthier Pelvic Floor
A healthy pelvic floor starts with our daily habits and movement patterns.
Sure, there are plenty of exercises and ways to strengthen it, but we don’t spend the majority of our time exercising, right? Those other moments of your day matter too (perhaps more!).
In this episode I’m sharing 3 things we need to stop doing for a healthy pelvic floor along with what to do instead.
First - what do I mean by ‘healthy?’ A healthy pelvic floor is able to manage pressure in our core when we exercise, cough, sneeze, laugh, etc. and ensure we don’t have symptoms like leaking, painful intercourse, and pelvic organ prolapse.
I’ve noticed ALL 3 of these things come up in my day to day and have to work hard to bring awareness to them. I’m willing to bet you do at least one of these 3 too.
