Rarely are we prepared for a cesarean birth, let alone equipped to recover from it.

If your cesarean was anything like mine, it was completely unexpected. And, on top of that, we’re often sent home with little information on healing and recovering from this major abdominal surgery. Amidst caring for a new baby and struggling through daily tasks, our recovery gets put on the back burner.
