Contrary to popular belief, postpartum recovery doesn’t start AFTER you have the baby. It starts while you’re still pregnant.

Many of us spend all of our time preparing for birth and caring for a new baby and don’t spend near enough time preparing for our postpartum recovery.

If one thing’s for sure, postpartum in itself demands A LOT of our physical and mental capacity. We’re healing, caring for a little one, and getting very little sleep. I know I was completely blindsided by the experience and am doing my best to prepare better this time!
